ARIS is Agricultural Research Information System.

ARIS is functioning with the latest facilities available from the information technology. It has a LAN spread in 6.5 kilometers area. Buildings are connected with optical fibre cables and within each building UTP cabling has been done.

Internet has been made available on the LAN. A single VSNL Internet account is shared among multiple users, bringing about tremendous cost savings for the university. Several users have been trained to use Internet. New users are being trained regularly.
