| Things come and things go.. But relationships don't. When I met Uesugi Ojichan (Uncle Uesugi)I thought that Japanese people were a bite eccentric. I soon found out that he was one of the few who was not afraid to go "out there." When Uesugi ojichan walked into a room, everyone changed. He carried some kind of grace that no one else does. It was not hard to get to know him because he reached out before you could. On one sad November night, he was taken away in his sleep. I think about all the memories that we created often... This was a 42 year old man who knew what living meant. His wild spirit will live on! |
