1. IEEE Bangalore Section felicitates Student Chapter of KREC on being awarded with the Bronze award for the 1998 World Wide IEEE Student Branch Website Contest on 30 June 1999.

3. IEEE Regional Activities Board Student Branch Membership Growth Award 1991 awarded to the KREC for Outstanding Leadership and Results in the IEEE Membership Development Activities for Region 10.

4. IEEE commemorates formation of KREC College Branch subject to IEEE Constitution, Bylaws and Binding Rules.
