Memory Makers

- Scrapbook Memory Books
This gift makes a great End of the Year gift for Teachers, but must be started on the 1st day of school!
Start by taking pictures of all the fun things your childs class does through out the year. (parties, class buddies,
carnivals, book fairs, playtime, lunch time etc.) Glue pictures to card stock using all the wonderful
Scrapbooking supplies you can now find in your local craft stores.  Add die-cuts, stickers and cute sayings
to your pages. (Be sure to check our
Scrapbooking Pages to get some great ideas.) Laminate your pages, then bind them or tie with ribbon.  Be sure to create a fun cover page!  Maybe use a class picture on the front and have all the kids add their signature to it.
====================================================================================
- A Year to Remember Photo Album
If you don't have the time or supplies to make a "Scrapbook Memory Book", then buy a small photo album (4x6)
and add your pictures to them. Again, you must start this project on the 1st day of school!  It also looks best when
you take the pictures all going the same direction.  Either tall or wide length.  It makes the photo album look like
a story book.  For an added touch, you can buy stickers will "cloud sayings" and add them to your pictures.
They are pre-worded stickers you stick to your pictures.  They are fun and will completely change your photo album!  Make it a year to remember!
=====================================================================================
- Recipe Book
Have children bring in their favorite recipes.  Type them on decorative paper, create a cover,
laminate all sheets and bind into a book.
"Ideas"
~ Let the children write their names on the cover.
~ Allow kids to decorate one page with a picture of them cooking their favorite recipe,
then put their recipe on the other page. (So when book is open, picture will be on the left, recipe on the right).
~ Have a "Recipe" Theme cookbook.  (Desserts only, easy meals only etc.)
