| End of the Year Class Parties |
| "Disco Fever" Turn your childs classroom into a dance hall! Ask around for a Karoke machine, a disco ball and tons of music for the kids. Kids can do the Limbo, eat pizza, chips, fruit, and drink punch. Your theme can be 50's, 60's, 70's etc......but be sure to play music that the kids all know and love! Other ideas: - Making beaded necklaces, or bracelets. (Set up a station in the corner of the room to allow kids to work on beads if they do want to dance or sing.) - Do the "Freeze Dance" - |
| "Beach Party" Have kids wear their swimsuits and sunscreen for a day full of water and sun. Ask parents to donate small pools, and water sprinkler toys. (Kids love slip n' slides.) Have a water balloon toss, 3 legged relays and toeing for marbles game. (put marbles in the pool, and kids have to use only their toes to get marbles out of the pool and then into a cup.) Other ideas: - Have bubbles and sidewalk chalk ready for kids to play. - Hula hoops and music are a fun addition. - Serve watermelon and have a seed spitting contest. - Have a picnic lunch. - |

| "Christmas Craft Party" What kid doesn't like crafts? To make this a successfull party, only choose crafts that are EASY to make and require very little adult help! Then before the party, be sure to make a "sample" of each craft. In the classroom, set up different craft stations. Each station will have an example to follow by, and all the necessary supplies needed to make that craft. One station should include "making their own take home bags". Turn a brown paper bag into a cute reindeer and then it doubles into a carry-all bag! Serve pizza and fruit or have kids bring their lunch that day and you bring in dessert and hot chocolate Other Ideas: - Be sure to play Chritmas music to keep the kids happy and in the mood! | "Christmas Song Party" Have Christmas songs and sheet music ready for the kids to sing their favorite tunes. See if some kids would like to do a "solo" act. Let kids sing and decorate cookies and cupcakes or make gingerbread house out of graham crackers and icing. |

| "Luau Party" Have kids wear their Hawaiian shirts and flip flops. Do the Limbo, eat fruit from skewers, and paint t-shirts as a craft. Other ideas: - Have an Ice Cream Picnic. Serve ice cream in small plastic beach pails and let the kids use the shovels as spoons. - Cover a wall with blue paper, add a palm tree, beach towel and chair and take pictures of kids. - Have pool toys as party favors along with the beach pails.
