On the side of invention, the collective modality reached a frontier when the development of linux on the WWW passed beyond a global threshold.
If this way of development becomes a structural standard, freedom of cooperation would be a precondition for almost any kind of invention. |

If linux/www is the standard, what branches of human endeavour are susceptible of falling in the "linux way of development" domain? or, to be "linuxable"?
(Software development hardly needs to be mentioned)
Is it AIDS investigation? genetics? nanotechnology? energy? arts? religion? peace construction? legislation? |

The WWW development has filled many holes (the "half duplex" way of comunication of the Gutenberg and broadcasting galaxies, for instance) but you can foretell that if it falls short in any way, it would very soon be replaced by something else. My then six years old sonīs basic drawing that is this homepage logo, was made while I was planning to build this page in the winter of 1999/2000. The honest use of very similar metaphors by different authors unaware of the otherīs lines, and my sonīs spontaneous drawing, suggest that there is a link, a stronger than internet bond with your beloved ones that can fuel any needed design. |
