This is the website of the Delta Upsilon: Central Florida Chapter philanthropy,
Mustache Survivor. What is Mustache Survivor? It’s a charity event for the Boys and Girls
Club of Orlando, raising money by having contestants grow mustaches for
a period of four weeks while soliciting donations from friends, family,
co-workers, and people in the community. At the end of the growing period
the contestants still sporting a mustache will be eligible to compete
for the “Best ‘Stache” Award inside their organization.
Now I’m sure by now if you’re still reading this you’ve
become intrigued by our efforts to raise money by growing facial hair. I will have to admit,
even though we did not have outside influence creating this event, we
are not the first to think of this idea. There are several different
independent organizations that have been doing this all over the
nation. Check our links section to view these forefathers of mustache
competition.

All contestants need to be sure that they show up for the weekly checkpoint in front of the union at the 'Stache Survivor table.
