Turner Manor, Inc.
    Turner Manor, Inc., is a 35 bed intermediate care facility for the developmentally disabled, and is fully licensed, certified, and Medicaid eligible. 

      TMI is located in Harrisburg, Illinois, approximately 40 miles east of SIU-Carbondale, and specializes in serving individuals with severe developmental disabilities, including those with high medical needs.

      Our DSP staff provide sevices to our consumers  in small team-based groups which promotes individualized attention and advanced knowlege of consumer needs.  The DSP staff are very dedicated and committed to their team. 
      
     Developmental Training, Pre-Vocational, and Vocational Services are available to all consumers through Coleman Tri-County Services, a CARF certified agency.       
     The Developmental Training  program site is located within one mile of our residence; an in-house program is available for those individuals with medical or senior-type needs who may require medical monitoring.

     TMI has available a strong interdisciplinary team and provides clinical services from many disciplines.  Members of our team include a pcyshatricist, a clinical phychologist, a certified Social Worker, Medical Director, Registered Pharmacist, and a Registered Dietician. 

     Therapy services are provided by Associates of Collective Therapies (ACT) consulting group and include Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.

     Our professional staff include: a Behavior Therapist, two Qualified Mental Retardation Professionals, Registered and Practical Nurses, Certified Activity staff,  Certified Dietary Management staff and certified Habilitation Technicians.

     In addition, consumers receive services through Harrisburg Family Practice and Harrisburg Medical Center for routine and emergency medical services including out-patient psychiatric services as needed. 
         
     Training is provided for individuals with health and sensory needs, mobility needs, behavioral deficits, personal self care needs, communication deficits, including sign language training, and all areas of active treatment programming including pet therapy.

     Nursing services are structured to serve individuals with involved medical needs while continuing to provide the developmental training experience.
