The "Ians Club" is a model railway club based in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is so named because most of its members happen to be named Ian. The unfortunate souls who were so remiss as to not be named Ian by their parents are awarded this most illustrious name in a suitably humiliating ceremony. They also get a certificate to prove it. Our modeling interests cover a broad range of scales and gauges from N gauge to 101/4" and covering most of the ones in between.
This is the pride and joy of the Ians club locomotive fleet, It is a live steam 101/4" gauge 0-4-2 tank engine affectionately known as Little Toot. Little Toot is owned by Ian Sandford (in the drivers seat) and is currently running on his 101/4" gauge railway located at Sandyknowls in Christchurch.
