Alec: Oh..shut up Alex Zoe: Maybe I should go and jump into that sea over there Vicki: Just preten your singing at home or something. My mum always told me to think of all the audience as potatoes.. | Many people come in one after another greeting th new baby's parents and looking and saying how cute the baby is. Everyone is very happy. Except for Cathy as she is with Elva staring at each of who they though was their love enimies. Cathy: I can't take it any longer! Cathy walks over to Zoe Cathy: Zoe have a competition with you Zoe: Today I am too happy to have an argument with you. Go and find some one else to compete with you Elva: Cathy Let's go back over there. Cathy: If you are going to let these 2 *itches steal your boyfriend and do nothing abut it then go. but I'm not going to stand there doing nothing Zoe: Cathy..What are you on about? Ok have it your way what do you want to LOSE on? Alex: Zoe ignore her. Alec: Cathy don't go over the top. You don't even have a boyfriend for someone to steal off you! Cathy: What do you mean? Zoe you too scared to compete with me because you know you're going to lose? Zoe: You.. Vicki: Zoe (shakes her head as if to say 'don't') Alec: Vicki let's go over to the balcony Zoe: Come on Alex it's free of beasts there (Cathy) Alex: (chuckles at the thought of Cathy and Elva being beasts!) They all walk away leaving Elva unhappy at the thought of Vicki being with her love. Cathy was angry at how Zoe called her a beast and that Alex had not helped her at all but laughed. Meanwhile everyone had arrived and Cathy's Dad was on stage thanking everyone for coming and talking of the people who were going to entertain the guests and told everyone to have a good time. Elva suddenly had an urge of a great plan and whispered something to Cathy. Cathy rushed onto stage wanting to challenge Zoe in a singing competition. She would be against Zoe whilst Elva was against Vicki. Zoe: If you really want to lose in front of so many people go ahead with it. But Vicki has a bad throat and so she can't compete with Elva. Elva: Either you cn win both of us or tell Vicki to come out and compete. Vicki: Zoe I can sing I'm fine. Cathy: Whoever wins 2 times in the 3 songs choosen by themselves will win this competition. Elva: At least 2 of the songs have to be a mandarin song Zoe: You sure your ok? Vicki: (nods) Both: Deal Alec: You ok Vicki? Zoe how can you both win them two? Alex: I thought you had just come from Uk and was born there? You speak mandarin? Alec: Can you two sing in mandarin? Vicki: haha you 2 look more worried about it then us Zoe: Oh no, I forgot I can't sing mandarin... Alex: (grabs hold of Zoe) WHAT? And you promised them both? What did you do that for Vicki: Zoe stop scaring everyone Zoe: Sorry...hehe If I didn't make something else for me to think about I will be so nervous Alex: -sigh- you scared me half to death then Alec: Don't worry I'm sure your mandarin can't be that bad if both your idols are mandarin speaking Zoe: I better get changed then Vicki: I'll come with you Vicki and Zoe both went to get changed and make themselves look the best for the song later. They also went to think of which songs to sing. Alec and Alex, holding a drink each facing the open air that the balcony of the hotel provided... Alex: Why are you staring at me for? Alec: *smiles* Alex: what are you smiling at? Alec: You like my cousin don't you? Alex: She's ok Alec: You know what I mean. Alex: *looks away trying to get away from Alec stare* No idea what you're on about Alec: If you don't love her then why was you so worried about her just then? Alex: I wasn't. Just caring for a friend like you did for Vicki Alec: Ok to be honest with you I think I may like Vicki more than just a friend Alex: You what? Congratulations Alec: Now you going to tell me the truth? If you do love her I can tell you now she has a boyfriend already that she met in her fans club. Alex: *runs to find Zoe* Alec: ONLY JOKING...and you say you don't love her Alex: I was...was...going to the toilets Alec: I told you about me...and now you tell me nothing....what's the point in being friends at all if you don't trust me *Alec pretends to walk off* Alex: *muffles* yes Alec: *smiles and turns back to Alex* Have you told her yet?
