The ChairMan has featured in some of the biggest matches of the year such as his ladder match with Gary Riot and his I Quit match with Todd Cranium. He has stunnered and Ganso Bombed his way to two world championships this year and is also a 6-time tag team champion. In the span of 12 months the Rogue has portrayed a posh English man, a cocky rebel and a dumbass. Recently The Rogue came into his own playing the lovable fool who gets himself into trouble without realising. | HWA AWARDS 2001 - Best Match 1st - The ChairMan vs. Gary Riot - Ladder Match (15 Votes) The hottest feud of the year got even hotter at Meltdown 2001 when Gary Riot and The ChairMan battled off for the HWA World Championship in a ladder match. There were powerbomb's through tables, chokeslams off ladders, Riot Drop's and Stunners in the greatest match of HWA history. The location was excellent, there was a good attendance, a crowd and good props in possibly the best card ever written for the HWA. We saw our first ever TLC match and The ChairMan and Gary Riot fought in a lumberjack match.
