Hybrid Energy Research Welcome
Linda Horton Brunner
The original plan for "Hybrid Energy Research" was to develop a research/demonstration farm on a 160 acre tract of land.  However, circumstances resulting from - what else - a divorce, left the idea intact, but no land to work with.  So after a lot of thinking, mulling, considering, wandering, and wondering, I decided to do this web site.  While the name implies a web site dedicated to energy research, in reality, only a portion of it will be so.  It also includes a variety of other subjects, perhaps one or two you might enjoy.  So take a look, if something catches your eye, take a peek.

Please keep in mind, I'm only doing this as a hobby for now, so I might not add to it every single day.  Just check in from time to time.
About Linda:
Nothing extraordinary.  Just an 'ole farm gal from Missouri that's no longer in agriculture, but hopes to be involved to an extent again someday.  Middle aged, interested in almost everything, and a bit "unique."  Honest and open-minded, with a degree in nothing except Life 101, and currently working as a house painter.  I'm into dialogue and opinions as long as it is respectful, and at least a little educated.

True-life Murder Mystery --

Ryan & Leslie Brunner's webpage ---
The subject of alternative/renewable energies and self sufficiency.  Solar power, wind, alcohol engines, food production, clothing production, electric cars, and non-conventional homes, it's all up for discussion.

- Just a few pics of past jobs.  Feel free to ask for a painting tip.

-Visited by people from around the world, this 1930-40's era made-up town, created by famous folk artist, Lowell Davis, near Carthage, "Missoura," is where I had the opportunity to work and live for a time.

- When I travel, I spend as much time as possible on back roads taking pictures and talking to people about anything that comes up.  Follow along.

- Horton, Wileman, Bowman, Yarington.  Our family's attempt to learn our ancestory.  Will you see your name?

- This is where I grew up. Visit this page to learn more about this rural farming community in southwest Missouri. Read about its storied history or use the page as a reference to find information about current Golden City businesses.

- An unsolved murder mystery in southwest Missouri

- Filled with pictures of my son and daughter-in-law; read about Ryan's social psychology research or see the school where Leslie teaches special education.  Be sure to look at the pictures of their basement, it wins the record for my painting project farthest away from home (they live in Ohio).
