It was on SUPER BOWL SUNDAY,
a day like no other.
“I think it’s time!”,
said mother.
The kids were all notified,
and found places to stay.
“You’ll have a baby brother,
by the end of the day.
So mom and dad headed in,
with hours ahead.
And they walked and they talked,
until mom said.
“I can’t take this no more,
call that doctor back.
I’m ready for the epidural,
CUT ME SOME SLACK!”

With i.v.’s and such,
the pain was subsided.
And that made mother,
ever so delighted.
So with family there,
love filled the room.
And our new son was born,
“None too soon!”

Kaigan just had his 1st birthday!!!! We had all been sick, so poor guy didn't have much of a party. He did enjoy his cake He is walking and talking and climbing. Loves the outdoors. Still has those beautiful curls.
