Overview:
----In late 3062, the newly founded Cysco Industries was contracted by the Lyran Free Union to set up facilities on the inhospitable world of Cyrus III. Using the Warhammer frame as a starting point, Cysco started on their first mech, the Storm Hawk.

----What was supposed to be a two year project, turned into a five year project. The mech's base chassis would remain the same, but ten tons lighter. The end project is a mech that looks much like the Warhammer, but smaller with a different roll.

Capabilities:
----The LFU1 is the first in a line of several planned Storm Hawks. Each arm mounts a RAC/2 with enough ammo to support garrison duty. Like the Warhammer, it mounts a missle bay, but over and behind the cockpit, giving it more range of firing. It is a multpurpose bay, using both short and long range missiles. The addition of the C3 module allows this mech to work in lances and companies with other C3-equipped mechs. This allows the Storm Hawk to stay back and use other heavy duty mechs to spot for it, maximizing its lifespan and using the long range ability of its RAC/2 and LRM5.
Battle History:
----In one on one test runs, it has seen mixed results, with negative results against mechs with high yield weapons. In another run, it took out a Crusader after multiple AC/2 hits to the head. Once the pilot blacked out from the hits, the Crusader was freely picked apart.

----In multi-mech test runs, the C3 network was invaluable as it was able to use its range and maneuverability to evade the enemy's fire, while hitting them as if from short range.

Variants:
----The LFU1 is the first of several scheduled variants. It is rumored that it will become an omnimech instead. Other variants may include swapping the RAC/2s for LB-X AC or energy weapons.
