Hurley Marine, Ltd. was one of the UK's larger boat builders.
This site is devoted to Hurley's range of sailing yachts, and
especially to the Hurley 22, of which over 1200 were built over
the last 35 years. With so many around, the 22 especially is a
popular second hand boat and an excellent entry into the world of
sailing & cruising!

- Since my last update, quite a lot has happened...
Personally, I have moved to a new job in a new country; and the Hurley Owners' Association
has gotten an injection of new energy. As I am no longer very actively maintaining this site,
a new one has been set up to represent the HOA. These pages here will revert to what they once were:
my personal Hurley pages. If you are looking for archive material on the Hurley range of yachts, enjoy the site!

Hurley owners can exchange ideas and questions. Martin
Palmer and John Udy are there for any questions you might
have. Also, Martin Palmer now has access to the Hurley
sail number archive. If you are wondering when your boat

- Over the years, many Hurley 22 owners have
come across the one design problem these boats seem to
have: the weight of the mast starts to weigh down on the
cabin roof causing a range of persistent problems: unable
to sufficiently tension shrouds, random leakages when
under sail, etc. This article aims to
offer a quick (DIY), cheap (�30) but effective solution.
Please provide feedback if you have it, as this problem
is a recurring theme.

name of the Dutch Hurley owner who started the archive of
Hurley materials that was the basis of much of this web
site.
