Fred Dryer holds the NFL record for the most safeties in a single game.

Prior to his role as Captain Charlie Devane, Charles Hallahan played a New York detective on a 1979 episode of All In The Family.

During her Hunter days, Stepfanie Kramer had a pet pitbull named Maggie, who kept her company on the set daily.

In The Cradle Will Rock, when Dee Dee went undercover as a nightclub singer, not only was Stepfanie Kramer actually singing those two songs, but she wrote them both as well. That was one of a few times she sang on the show.

Fred Dryer was set to play the role of Sam Malone on the hit comedy Cheers, but lost it to Ted Danson. He later went on to make several guest appearances on the show as a sportscaster.

Besides her excellent acting skills, Stepfanie Kramer is also a very talented singer. Although she considers herself more of a rok-'n'-roll type, she is actually a trained mezzo soprano.

Fred Dryer and President George W. Bush were born on the exact same day.

When casting for the show, Stephen J. Cannell originally wanted Kathy Lee Crosby to play the part of Dee Dee McCall.

James B. Sikking, who played Jack Small in the memorable 3-part episode City Under Siege, is best known for his role on the police drama Hill Street Blues, where his character's name was Hunter.

The song heard during the opening credits in Straight To The Heart is sung by Stepfanie Kramer.

Stepfanie Kramer nearly left Hunter over the 3-part episode City Of Passion in 1987. The original script called for Dee Dee McCall to be raped a second time and Stepfanie refused.
