Human Friends Welfare Association is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1997 It was registered under voluntary social welfare agencies act-1961 in 1999.

  1. Human Friends Community Dispensary at Village Haji Jagan
  2. Non-Formal School at Village Sultan Ghunio
  3. Abdul Karim Gaddai Library at Thul town
  4. Human Friends Institute of Computer Sciences at Thul town
  5. CBO Resource Centre at Thul town
  6. Social Mobilization in 16 UCs of Taluka Thul
  7. Human Friends Tuition Centre at Thul
  8. Information Centres for women (INC Centre)
  9. Supporting for EFA Goals to UNESCO
  10. Distribution of UNESCO reading material in 40 Schools
  11. Tree Plantation
  12. Capacity building of UCs throughworkshop with help of SAP
  13. Emergency Relief activities   
  14. Coordination with local Government representatives
  15. Monitoring & Evaluation of Ongoing & completed projects.
  16. Consumer Rights (ie electricity, gas, water, etc)
  17. Information sharing & providing information about govt: policies, rules, regulations, departments etc to public
  18. EPA funded Project Supporting forestry

Past Major Activities: (Projects only)

  1. (Year 2000-2001) Completed SWEET Project by RDD Deptt:  Govt. of Sindh with funding source of unicef.
  2. (Year 2001-2002) Completed WES (Water, Environment and Sanitation Project) on district level by SAFWCO with funding source of UNICEF.
  3. (from 1st Aug 2000 to 31 July, 2002) Completed 2 years Project “Human Friends Community Dispensary” funded by  TVO.
  1. (Year 2000-2001) Completed “ Human Friends Library Project” funded by Sindh Social Welfare Council Karachi.
  2. (Year 2001) Completed project titled “Human Friends Computer Centre” funded by Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal
  3. Past some other activities were Polio Days Campaign, TT Vaccination, Malaria Spray, Nimkol Trainings, Free Medical Camps, Malaria Prevention Programme, Health Education etc.
  4. Non-Formal Schools, Tuition Centres, Free Book Distribution programme
  5. Smokeless Cook stoves, Tree plantation, Environmental Clubs in Schools, posters, banners, sign boards for awareness
