| Born and raised in Hawaii, Ikaika Kahoano is following in his family's footsteps. Both his parents and his younger brother, Kamuela, are entertainers. Ikaika and Kamuela had just released their first CD, entitled "Fruit From The Tree" when he was picked for "Making The Band." Ikaika became an overnight sensation on the television series, which led to an appearance on "The Rosie O' Donnell Show," during which Rosie gushed, "I just have to say, I love you!" Of Hawaiian and Portuguese descent, Ikaika is currently taking a break from his classes at the University of Hawaii, where he is studying to become a doctor. A former high school football player, he keeps in shape by kickboxing and weight training. Ikaika's birthday is May 15. |
