Hug-O-Bull Bulldogs was established in 1967 and is located in
West Central New Jersey.

Frank and Norma Hugo aquired their first bulldog in 1957, and their first show dog in 1967.Their daughter Elizabeth Hugo-Spector grew up around the dogs and dog shows and is currently managing the breeding and showing careers of all the dogs.

Frank, Norma and Elizabeth are all members of the Bulldog Club of America, Division 1, The Bulldog Club of New Jersey and the Bulldog Club of Philadelphia, where they have all served in every position over the years. Elizabeth is currently the President of the BCP.

Frank served as a Division 1 councilor and Elizabeth is currently a councilor, as well as a member of the BCA Judges Education Committee and a founding member of the BCA Health Committee.

We have always strived to breed the soundest, healthiest dogs possible, with the added bonus of winning at the shows, in the heaviest of competition, under the breed's leading specialist judges. From the very first Reserve win in 1968 to the spectacular finish of our 28th champion Oscar, we have experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, but our commitment to the breed remains constant.
