Scenes from
Aix en Provence

Aix is a fun town.  It's big enough to have just about anything you'd want, but small enough to be able to get around easily.  It features a main street (Le Cours Mirabeau) with lots of shops and outdoor restaurants.  One of the restaurants that we went to last year is called Les Deux Garcons.  A picture of it is to the right.  To find out more about "The Two G's" click here (it's listed under "brasserie").
There's even an Irish Pub in town.  Click here to see
The Red Clover (it's under "pubs").  Culturally, it is an exciting town, with music and art festivals just about every month.  We also like the fact that it is so convenient to all the neat areas around, like Cassis, Nimes, Arles, the Luberon, the Gard, Avignon, St. Tropez and the whole coast to Italy.
Aix has a long (and I mean LONG) history.  To find out more,
