| This guy here, is my first tortoise, and to tell you the truth, i found him on the side of the road in Michigan, almost dead. Toby, I believe, was dehydrated, and wouldn't eat. | This is my Russian Tortoise Littlefoot. I got her as a gift from my aunt. She actually got Littlefoot for me, so I could learn how to take care of a tortoise, and keep Toby alive. Littlefoot is very nice, but when she sees food, it's hers, and only hers :) She is one greedy critter, always getting into trouble!!! |

| Hi, I'm Brittany, and I'm from the northern, lower penninsula of Michigan, I have had quite some time with my tortoise Toby, but I have finally got him back to full strength. I may be only 13 years old, but I care for my tortoises very well, and take any and all advice. I started out raising baby turtles, like Eastern Painteds, and Common Snappers, that I found on the roads...I still do that. Not until September 9th, 2000, did I start raising my tortoises, and occasionally turtles. I now have three russians russian tortoises; Littlefoot and Myrtle, my tortoise Toby, and my two new tortoises Gurgie and Torty. I have been feeding them the food that was recommended by some awesome people. They have helped me to learn how much responsibility it takes to own a tortoise!!! Thanks...B.L.D. |
