Cafe Fleuri
Despite Le Meridien's high-falutin' attitude (e.g., they answer the phone in French), the spectacular atrium setting of the Café Fleuri, its round-the-world brunch stations, excellent service and world class cuisine make its Sunday brunch my current favorite, at about $35. While the atrium is bright and open, it also qualifies as a romantic setting for a Sunday morning culinary date. (1/98)
