The Houston Society for Coatings Technology, in existence since 1938, serves the needs of the Houston coatings industry's technical functions, supporting informational and educational requirements of our area technicians. Membership is open to manufacturers of coatings and suppliers to the coatings industry in the Houston market area.
Members of the Board of Directors of the Houston Society are drawn from manufacturers of coatings and suppliers to the coatings industry in the Houston market area.
The Houston Society maintains a substantial educational fund, which is available to our members for reimbursement of educational or training expense, as a benefit of membership.
The Houston Society is chartered affiliate of the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology, Blue Bell, PA.
Beginning with the 2003-04 program year, the Houston Society will change the number of technical and/or social events to five. This step was taken to better address the needs and attendance capabilities of our membership. Details of these changes can be found on the Schedule page.
The Houston Society invites and welcomes all inquiries into membership. The Houston Society offers both full membership in H.S.C.T. and F.S.C.T., or local affiliate membership only, at a lower dues rate. See the Membership page on this site.
The Houston Society exists to support the needs our members, both technical and commercial, and to advance the interests of the Houston coatings producers.
