"So if you like the north so much, why did you move?" Good question... there were a lot of reasons involved in my move, but mainly a job came open that I moved for.
Currently, I teach 7th & 8th grade special education and I like what I do. My students are mentally impaired, but still able to function somewhat independently. The focus of my classroom centers on daily living skills and functioning in the communtiy. Along with regular academics, I teach a lot of cooking, money handling, budgeting, how to get around town, etc. Basically the things that you need to know how to do on your own to survive.
"What do you do for fun?" I'm not sure, if you can tell me what fun is, I'll be happy to tell ya!!! Actually, in my spare time, I like to read (mysteries), cook (have written two cookbooks), shop (maxed out the credit cards), entertain (come on over for dinner), hang with friends... pretty much like doing everything. I like "exploring" new places and things and having my horizons broadened.
