Human Rights Action Coalition
Founded on June 12, 1997 on Bastille Day, the Human Rights Action Coalition (HRAC) has been on the forefront in addressing psychiatric oppression. Such issues included forced drugging, involuntary outpatient commitment, shock treatment and other atrocities.

Since 1997 the HRAC has advocate for persons locked up in hospital wards and who are under some type of involuntary outpatient treatment. We were successful in many cases that we took. As a result, we were able to free most of our clients from psychiatric oppression for the rest of thier lives.

Now we are representing a client who is housed at Chester Mental Health Center in Illinois. He has been held there for over 9 years for no specific reason. On top of that, he was not charged with a crime and feel his incarceration is directly connected to the economic situation in the Chester Illinois area.

We ask you to click on the below link to find out more about his case. If you want to help, you can contact me at hrac4@juno.com or below. Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you soon.
