How to go to heaven
First a person should realize these things:
1. Only perfect people go to heaven.
2. No person except for Jesus lived a perfect life. "All have sinned" Romans 4:23
3. God is perfect and He must punish someone for a person's sins. He sentences people to an eternity of punishment (second death), physical death, and spiritual death. "For the wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23 "...lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:14,15
4. God is also loving. He came to earth as a man named Jesus and lived a perfect life. He allowed Himself to be nailed to a cross, and was punished for our sins. He was not punished for His sins, because He had no sins. He died and came back to life 3 days later. God treated Jesus on the cross as we deserve to be treated. "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
5. If a person wants to live forever in heaven, and start to live a less sinful life now, then that person must accept that Jesus was punished how he/she deserves to be punished. A person must accept Him as his/her Savior and Lord (Boss) of his/her life.
How you can be forgiven and someday go to heaven:
-You can receive forgiveness and go to heaven someday by believing that God exists, that you are sinner, that you deserve His punishment, and that Jesus took your punishment. You need also to believe that Jesus rose again physically, and that you don't want to sin anymore. Ask God to forgive you and for Jesus to be your Savior and Lord (Boss) of your life. Then you will be forgiven and someday go to heaven.
-Someone will be punished for your sins: either you or Jesus. Who do you choose? Where do you want to live forever at? A place of torment, pain, loneliness, and suffering? Or in a joyful, love-filled, perfect heaven?: "God Himself will be with them and will be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:3,4
-You must accept Jesus and God's forgiveness in order to go to heaven. "Come to Me...and you will find rest for your souls."
