Katrina destroyed our homes, disrupted our way of life, and crushed any hope of getting help from our very own government...
But she can never take away our hope and dreams for a better future...
She has made us stronger, wiser, and closer to our family and friends than we have ever been... |

We have found a new place to call home. We are settling in Tickfaw, LA. We have a brand new house on an acre on a country road with hardly any traffic. Nice, quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. Retirement came early for us. Too bad we still have to go to work!
The U.S. Government and how they helped us...
We the people of St. Bernardd Parish have been forgotten by our very own government... Local, state, and federal government have turned their backs on us... They are too busy pointing fingers and blaming each other... they have forgotten the real important issue... HELPING US! |
