Muscoda WI - April 20, 21 and 22 (page four)

From here, the wind and waves gave us all the action we needed until late in the afternoon.

Bill Zang - Universal Hovercrafts Charles Dixon - Downers Grove IL
Don Searls chatting with public! Dave LaCombe and Vernon Weber
Ken Roberts gets his craft ready...

Ken had an unsuccessful cruise in August of 1999, so was very happy not to have to be stranded this year somewhere!

Sometimes it seemed that it was mostly "Come on....I'll catch you", especially when the wind wasn't going to comply with where you wanted to park! Thanks to Mike Jacobson and Ben Tilson here, Ken does a great landing!

I remember coming in for a landing quite often, feeling very thankful others on the landing were watching out for me! Thanks guys! (no picture available :-( )

This was one of the coolest shots I got.....I never even realized the action until I reviewed my photos. Mike Jacobson is seen running around the bridge with the traffic above him!

Mike Lynch with minor troubles...... Always a hazard somewhere--notice the finger skirts :-(

Mike Lynch comes in with minor skirt problems......

Vernon Weber....

Verdon Weber....

54.4 mph on 4/22/01 !!!

The Pink Lady did 54.4 mph on Sun. a.m. with Laurie Gungel and I aboard!

To me, this was the pick of the weekend! This beautiful craft was built by Vince Vobeck, Wausau, WI.

Now see what happens to Dave LaCombe's 10F! Turn to Page 5!
