This web site is becoming the largest collection of information on the internet about Houndstone Camp, Yeovil, Somerset, England. Hopefully it will continue to grow with donations from visitors of their memories, details and photographs. The website may even expand into covering Lufton Camp also, the sister camp of Houndstone. Little remains of these camps, Houndstone being the only one to have surviving buildings. I feel its important to gather information of these sites and put them on the internet. These will then be accessible for anyone who is interested in the history of the site, or even served there, as the camp is rapidly vanishing beneath business estates and slipping in the memories of locals and people who visited the camp.

If you feel you have anything to contribute, in even the smallest way...
