Corey Anderson, 6-3, 240, DE/FB, Austin-East High in Knoxville. **

Anderson didn't play football his sophomore or junior years in high school and instead played basketball. He played linebacker, tight end and fullback for Austin-East last season. Several smaller schools also recruited him to play basketball.

Julian Battle, 6-3, 210, S, Los Angeles Valley Community College. ****

Originally from West Palm Beach, Fla., and signed with Miami out of high school, but didn't qualify academically. Battle caught nine touchdowns as a receiver during his first year of junior college. He was suspended from the team for part of last year, but returned to play in the defensive backfield.

Shannon Benton, 5-10, 180, CB, Frostproof, Fla. ***

Rated the country's No. 62 cornerback prospect by Rivals100.com. Benton is a cousin to Tennessee all-time leading rusher Travis Henry. An all-state cornerback in high school, Benton also played some tailback and has 4.4-second speed in the 40-yard dash. He was also recruited by Brigham Young, East Carolina and Clemson.

Robert Boulware, 5-11, 180, CB, Charlotte, N.C. ****

Rated the seventh best cornerback prospect in the country by Rivals100.com. Boulware is the North Carolina state high school record holder in the 55 meters. He played free safety and cornerback in high school. A Top 75 player nationally. He picked Tennessee over North Carolina State.

Michael Collins, 6-5, 210, WR, Commerce, Ga. ***

Rated the 56th best receiver prospect in the country by Rivals100.com. Collins played quarterback as a senior in high school and rushed for 1,000 yards. He played receiver as a junior and caught 16 touchdown passes. Also a highly recruited basketball prospect who wants to play both sports at Tennessee. Collins chose the Vols over Clemson and Georgia.

Jabari Davis, 6-0, 230, RB, Stone Mountain, Ga. *****

A Parade All-American and rated the second best running back prospect in the country by Rivals100.com. Davis split time between fullback and tailback at Tucker High last season and rushed for 1,420 yards and 20 touchdowns. A Top 5 player nationally. He picked Tennessee over Georgia, Mississippi State and Alabama.

Jomo Fagan, 6-1, 170, WR/CB, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. ***

Rated the 40th best cornerback prospect in the country by Rivals100.com. Fagan was a standout receiver for St. Thomas Aquinas, but also played in a secondary that was considered one of the state's best. He chose Tennessee over Ohio State, Michigan State, Purdue and Miami.

C.J. Fayton, 6-2, 190, QB, Virginia Beach, Va. ****

Rated the 11th best quarterback prospect in the country by Rivals100.com. Fayton, who also plans to play basketball for the Vols, passed for 15 touchdowns and rushed for 14 touchdowns last season as an option quarterback. He also ran back four punts for touchdowns. He chose Tennessee over North Carolina and Virginia Tech.

Aubreyo Franklin, 6-2, 290, DT, Itawamba (Miss.) Junior College. ****

Played linebacker at Science Hill High in Johnson City. Franklin led Itawamba with 12 sacks last season. He was also recruited by Mississippi State and South Carolina. Will enroll this summer.

Richie Gandy, 6-5, 290, OL, Darlington, S.C. **

One of the top offensive line prospects in South Carolina, Gandy was also recruited by Clemson, Duke, North Carolina and Georgia Tech. Gandy committed to the Vols back in August.

Chris Heath, 6-1, 175, S, Hattiesburg, Miss. **

Rated the 70th best safety prospect in the country by Rivals100.com. Heath had 86 tackles, four interceptions and five caused fumbles last season. A standout center fielder on his baseball team. Heath was also recruited by Stanford, Alabama, Mississippi State and South Florida.

Cedric Houston, 6-0, 200, RB, Clarendon, Ark. ****

A Parade All-American and rated the country's seventh best running back prospect by Rivals100.com. Houston rushed for 1,735 yards and 31 touchdowns last season. His explosiveness around the corner put him on everybody's wish list. A Top 40 prospect nationally by Rivals100.com. Houston chose Tennessee over Arkansas.

Jason Mitchell, 6-0, 215, LB, Abbeville, La. ****

Rated the 29th best linebacker prospect in the country by Rivals100.com. Mitchell had 117 tackles and five sacks last season. His older brother, Brandon Mitchell, plays for the New England Patriots. He picked Tennessee over Arkansas, LSU and Texas A&M.

Paul Monroe, 6-7, 335, OL, Sevier County High. **

An all-state selection who enrolled at Tennessee in January. Committed to the Vols last summer. He was the Class 4A lineman of the year and was also recruited by North Carolina, Alabama, Auburn and Nebraska.

John Poe, 6-2, 230, LB, Covington High. *

Hampered by knee problems during his high school career. Poe missed his senior season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during a scrimmage. He missed his sophomore season with a torn ACL in his right knee. Poe, who bench-presses 415 pounds, was also recruited by Memphis, Mississippi and Arkansas.

Justin Reed, 6-6, 240, P, Punta Gorda, Fla. **

A USA Today second-team All-American. Reed averaged 47.4 yards per kick last season. He's also a baseball pitcher with a fastball that has been clocked in the 90s. He chose Tennessee over Florida, Iowa, Iowa State and Tulane.

William Revill, 6-1, 220, LB, Albany, Ga. ***

Rated the country's No. 71 linebacker prospect by Rivals100.com. Revill was a versatile performer in high school, where he also blocked two kicks and scored three touchdowns last season. A potential fullback in college. Revill, also a standout wrestler, won 97% of his matches during his high school career. He chose Tennessee after also visiting Auburn and Louisville.

Ovince Saint Preux, 6-3, 215, LB, Immokalee, Fla. ****

Rated the 19th best defensive end prospect in the country by Rivals100.com. Saint Preux has been compared by some to former Vol Raynoch Thompson and will probably play linebacker at Tennessee. He had 17 sacks last season and was an all-state performer. He chose Tennessee over Florida, Georgia and South Florida.

Kevin Simon, 5-11, 222, LB, Concord, Calif. *****

The Rivals.com national defensive player of the year and a Parade All-American. Simon was the No. 1-rated linebacker prospect in the country by Rivals100.com. Simon, recovering from reconstructive knee surgery, had 141 tackles last season and was a three-time all-state selection. He chose Tennessee over Miami, UCLA, Florida State and Texas A&M.

Derrick Tinsley, 6-1, 180, RB, Marietta, Ga. *****

Rated the country's No. 4 running back prospect by Rivals100.com. Tinsley rushed for 1,300 yards and 15 touchdowns last season and also excelled as a kick returner. There's a chance that he could play receiver in college. A Top 30 prospect nationally by Rivals100.com, Tinsley picked Tennessee after also visiting Clemson and South Carolina.

Demetrin Veal, 6-3, 285, DL, Cerritos (Calif.) Community College. ****

A first-team All-American by JC Grid-Wire. Veal played defensive end in junior college. He chose Tennessee over Oregon State and plans to enroll at UT this summer.

Keldrick Williams, 5-9, 202, RB, Montgomery (Ala.) Lanier High School **

A surprise signee with UT, he rushed for 1,800 yards last season and 18 touchdowns after a junior season that saw him surpass the 2,000-yard mark. He has been clocked in 4.42 seconds in the 40-yard dash. Had been considered a lock for Arkansas until the Vols made a late push.
