 2.  WADE H. (HAMPTON?)2 GREER (Edmund3) was born in GA 1843.  Wade died 1886 in prob. Texas, at 43 years of age.  His body was interred in Union Hill, Texas, unmarked grave.
 He married circa 1867  (SUSAN) GERTRUDE2 STARNES (George Washington3), who  was born in Benton Co, AL 1839.  (Susan) died in Upshur Co, TX.

      Wade H. (Hampton?) Greer and (Susan) Gertrude Starnes had the following children:
        i.  CHARLES1 was born in TX circa 1868.  Charles died circa 1940 in perhaps Ft. Myer, FL.  He married LEE SMITH June 13, 1898.
        ii.  IDA MAY was born circa 1872.

        iv.  MAGGIE was born circa 1877.  She married WILLIAM J. HEFNER in TX?, circa 1896.  William was born in AL circa 1876.

 1.  JESSE WADE1 GREER (Wade H. (Hampton?)2, Edmund3), son of Wade H. (Hampton?) Greer and (Susan) Gertrude Starnes, was born in Texas December 8, 1876.  Jesse died November 1, 1950 in Cambridge, MA, at 73 years of age.  His body was interred in ashes at, Mt Auburn Cem, Cambridge, MA.
 He married JULIA ANN (DEE) SWINT in Mt. Pleasant TX, 1900.  Julia was born in Mt. Pleasant, Titus Co, TX December 26, 1880.  Julia was the daughter of Frederick Swint and Mary Frances (Molly) Emerson.  Julia died January 9, 1960 in Cambridge, MA, at 79 years of age.  Her body was interred in ashes at, Mt Auburn Cem, Cambridge, MA.

age 3 born GA, and Sarah BAXTER age 1 born TX.

precinct 5.  I suspect that Permelia Peteit's maiden name may have been GREER, but no data to prove it.
