Hometown Hurley....A BEAUTIFUL ENVIRONMENT
The saying "Hurley, Hayward, Cumberland and Hell," was once used to describe the four toughest palces on earth.

How proud I must be to call this place my hometown. But despite a turbulent societal past, Hurley, and the surrounding areas that make up Iron County, Wisconsin, is a beautiful place with abundant natural resources.

Hurley, Wisconsin is located in the northwest portion of the state in the county of Iron. Iron County was created in 1893 from Ashland and Oneida counties. Hurley is the county seat.

I invite you to explore this unique place and it's plants, animals, and ecosystems. Follow the links below to discover the environment of Hurley.  Enjoy!
