| Welcome to the Adoption Centre. This is where animals are sent if they are not looked after by their owners. When they first arrive they are put into the quarrentine barn where they stay for a week so that the owners have a chance to reclaim them. The owner is charged £100 fo every day they are there so that is a maximum of £700, which goes towards their keep and any treatment. After the week is up they are put up for re-homing and you can adopt them. However you have to pay a small fee and they need a thorough examination from the vet and any treatment needs to be followed. Animals can be put in the adoption centre if Livery bills are not paid, if they are not seen by the vet every month, if they are not seen by the farrier every month, if bedding is not bought (depending on livery) and if food is not bought (depending on livery). (If you are on full livery and a service is not provided you do not lose your horses and do not hae to pay that months livery bill as it was the responsibility of the livery yard owner.
