-Liriel McMahon, The Vampire Research Institute

This is just one of the countless renowned quotes spoken about her.

"Kim Elizabeth is a majestic presence, with a refined and unique writing style that is all her own. She has got a transcendent and deeply disturbing morbid element that likens to the genius of Poe and the mystique and terror of Lovecraft, all the while illuminating her Hadean darkness with the poetic profoundness and sheer beauty of Keats..."

-Thomas Casey
Professor of English Literature

Kim Elizabeth was born in New York City in 1978. She started writing poetry when she was just 4 years old. That was the same time her musical background began. The not yet kindergarten aged Elizabeth had a love of classical music - piano and violin - as well as her poetry. The Swedish Covergirl started modeling as a small child and when Kim was just 12 years old she became a published writer. Her first poetry book was published when she was still just a kid, and overseas in boarding school.  The young author emerged onto the writing scene as a teenager exhibiting her extraordinary talent with her first book, MYSTICAL EYES, published overseas. Noted reviewer for the UK Press, Richard Ball, stated, in her very first book review, "The elusive images of darkness and strangeness come through eerily;

                           I sense Edgar Allan Poe's genius in her poetry ... beyond. This young lady is going to go very far."

Along with her poetry and prose, Kim has a diverse and eclectic background in classical music, violin and piano, modern dance, ballet, gymnastics, English literature and quantum physics. Elizabeth's literary work ranges through a wide spectrum which embraces horror, deeply of metaphysical as well as psychological-terror ex anima-nature, dark fantasy, vampirism, gothic lure, necromancy, mysticism/cabalistic transmutations, paranormal phenomenon, theoretical physics/hyperspace, astronomy/cosmos/nature, spirituality/new age, science fiction, mythology, social/humanistic works and comedy, much of which is dark and satirical, unorthodox and definitely offbeat.

                               Kim Elizabeth is the author of NETHERWORLD, MYSTICAL EYES, IMMORTAL HEARTBEAT and FROM THE SHADOWS, as well as her illustrated series, DARK WORLD and INTO THE NIGHT. A successful and multitalented writer, poet, artist, model and musician since age 16, in just a few years the young author has become a mainstay of dark fantasy literature.

                               Haunting and atmospheric, Elizabeth masterfully weaves her web of sublime enchantment and merciless horror, leaving you out of breath, heart pounding, and desperately needing more. NETHERWORLD, the masterpiece anthology, collects some of the nightmare-inspired (and inspiring!) short stories and poems that have led many in the press to call Kim Elizabeth the Princess of Horror.  Her ethereal, atmospheric and sensuous style contrasts beautifully with the often violent, but always melodic, terrors that lurk in her dark worlds.  Kim Elizabeth's stories affect readers like poetry.  Her poems feel like short, powerful stories. Kim Elizabeth has firmly established herself as a unique and refined voice in horror. NETHERWORLD will entrance and bewitch new fans, and serve as a chilling reminder for the old, of why Kim Elizabeth is truly the Princess of Horror...
