Homeschoolers Offering Practical Encouragement
"Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love;  in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
Romans 12:10-13
Group Philosophy
We feel that our children are a blessing from the Lord (Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3), and that it is our privilege and duty to raise them in a way that would be pleasing to our Lord (And ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4).  We do not wish to exclude any homeschooling family in our community, but we reserve the right to plan and carry out our activities in accordance with Biblical standards.
We want to provide encouragement to families who are homeschooling any of their children, and to provide opportunities for homeschooling families in our area to get to know one another better.  In linking up homeschooling families, we hope there will be many benefits, including sharing of resources, updates on legal issues and requirements, group privileges and discounts.  To this end, we are always trying to seek better methods to communicate with members and to bring in fresh ideas on how to best meet needs in our group's families.
