War in Iraq...Why?

And I'm adding the parts they edited out.LOL..."How about bringing our troops back and deploying them around the perimiter of our own country? We DO have capable scientists who could make an interceptor for any incoming WMD's or germ heads, meet the incoming object, defuse it, rerig it in mid-air and return it from whence it came. Then instead of rebuilding other countries, we could use OUR money for the poor, the hungry and the homeless, and even give our troops a well deserved raise!!! Other countries hate us now, so let's keep our own safe right here at home. "
