Parade Evenings start at 19:00 (7 pm) and end at 21:30 (9.30pm), on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Membership is open to both male and female aged between 13 and 18.
The ATC aims to offer a range of activities and experiences which will benefit young people in both Service and civilian life.

Activities on offer include Flying (Powered aircraft and Gliders), Adventurous Training in various guises, target shooting, Citizenship training, Leadership development, sports, visits to RAF Stations (including opportunity to fly in RAF aircraft), Project work, Squad drill.

The cadets pay a monthly subscription of £6 each to the Squadron. Other activities attract a small levy dependant upon where the activity is taking place, and how long they will be there for. Typically a week on an RAF Station will cost around £45.
