I spend most of my time in front of the computer. That makes me think that the world is such a small place. The global village. Interconnected to every corner in the world, talk to anyone with a few clicks. But once in a while, I emerge through the cobwebs and go to some place nice. And that makes me think what a big place the world is. There is so much to see, so much to experience, so many people to meet, so many cuisines to taste, so much to do that it would take many lifetimes to experience it all! It is good to have some memories of those moments, so that I get reminded, while I'm back in my cobweb, that the world is not as small as it seems to be through monitor.

Unfortunate Trek I

Lonavala is about three hours from Mumbai, a beautiful place where Shivaji built three of his forts, but where we went at the wrong tine - mid summer.
The 6 km trek however, fortunately, didn't kill us. It was beautiful looking the entire region from the top, a breathtaking view(although we were practically breathless when we reached there).
It was worth the climb. Monsoons however, are the best time to visit th  place.
