| In January we will be settling back into our normal class routine. We will re-introduce our classroom rules and focus on a wintry theme as well as home and community. All PK classes will celebrate literacy month in January. Also, we will be testing and preparing for conferences with parents at the beginning of February. |
| Parent Teacher Conferences Parent teacher confernces for all PK classes will be held on February 2, 3, 4. Each conference will last approximately 20 minutes and we ask that you DO NOT bring your child to the conference. See the back of the snack calendar for your scheduled day and time. If you need to change your time, please contact me and I will do my best to accomodate you. There will be no school on those days. |
| Winter Weather Holy Redeemer School complies with the Ellwood City Area School District in a cancellation or delay due to inclement weather. Also, we announce our delays and cancellations on the major Pittsburgh networks. If there is a two-hour delay announced for Holy Redeemer School, then morning PK classes will be cancelled. |
| Scholastic Orders Scholastic book orders are due by Friday, January 16. This month is literacy month. Now is a great time to buy books for those cold winter evenings! |
| Class Adjustments There are several class adjustments this month: **NO SCHOOL on January 1 - 2 for Christmas Vacation **NO SCHOOL for PK 5. Friday, January 16 Faculty meeting in the afternoon. **NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 19. Teachers have a pre-scheduled clerical day. ** NO SCHOOL on February 2, 3, 4. PK Parent-Teacher Conferences. |
