LOST WORLD MODELING
Sherlock Holmes was not the only famous character by Sir Arthur Conan
Doyle. There is also Professor Challenger, from Doyle's"The Lost World".Since
the release of the Jurassic Park movies, there has been a steady increase of interest in dinosaurs, and dozens of companies are producing models, figures,
and toys. Real paleontologists are working with model-makers to produce life-
sized models for museums, and thousands of amateurs are modifying kits to
produce their own versions of prehistoric creatures. Why not re-read Doyle's
classic, and model challemger and his intrepid crew, as they face Tyrannosaurus Rexes and pteranodons?
One can purchase a dinosaur model from just a few inches tall, from Revell, up to full scale, as witnessed by the sale at Christies of props from
Jurassic Park. Before you fill your garage with a life -sized iguanodon, however,
look over these sites and see what interests you. Remember that some figures
and toys can be adapted for modeling, and that just about every dinosaur is now
available for purchase in some form. So,  out those toy soldiers from England's colonial days in the attic, and see how they fare against a scale T-rex!
