Hello Cabbagetowners
And Goodbye
Yahoo/Geocities is closing down their website division sometime this year, this means The Cabbagetown Chronicles will be gone forever. The site has been up 12 years (Since 1997) which is not a bad run. Sorry, but this is totally beyond my control. Thanks to everybody that contributed their pictures and stories to it. It's been a blast

Unfortunately I could only spend one hour there.
But from what I've heard everyone had a great time.

*Cabbagetown Message Board*

Although we will keep the guest book up and running we felt a message board would be a better way for multiple users to keep in touch. This is a good way to find old friends, share memories, or just about anything else you might want to discuss. However, all the normal rules apply. No commercial stuff. No yard sales, No rentals. And especially, nothing in bad taste. All the above will be removed immediately.

ATTENTION

We've been getting some email lately from people wondering if we can help them find lost friends etc. We help when we can but it ain't easy. Please use the Message Board in the box above to get in touch with other Cabbagetowners. Leave your name and email along with the name of whoever you're searching for and someone may be able to help you find them.

However, if you just want to comment, then feel free to use the Guestbook...

They're Wrecking Regent Park North

Here's some news for those of you that never get down to the old homestead, some of it ain't there anymore. The wrecker's ball has taken out the entire block from Parliament to Sackville, and from Dundas to Oak. In it's place the City is to build new housing and retail units. expected to take 10 to 15 years to complete the project.

It is indeed very strange to see that area vacant. Also, the cop shop on Regent has been torn down.

Here's Our Guestbook
We've recently started it over and would
like to use it as a place where people can leave their name and
email to possibly get in touch with old friends from the area.
We have had many people inquire about finding lost friends and
we figured this would be helpful.
