Gone but NOT forgotten

Anthony Holt, my best friend for 11 years prior died at the age of 15 in 1989 of a Grade 'A' Brain Tumor leaving two loving parents and a younger brother, Wayne. He is bueried in Windlesham Cemetary. This is not a page for one of those 'Sick Kid gets the most Get Well Soon E-Mail' Fads - Anthony was one of the most selfless people that it has ever been my fortune to meet and know. When a child is diagnosed as being terminally ill they get given the opportunity by a nationwide and hospital organised charity to do one last thing before they depart this mortal realm, in all their time at the hospital where Anthony was 'treated' they had never heard a child say "Give it to someone else" but when they asked him, that is exactly what they heard... He passed up his last chance to do something any healthy child would remember for the rest of their lives. Some people may say that that was a stupid thing to do, but it all depends on how you look at it. When he died he didn't feel anything, literally because he wasn't able to percieve the sense of touch, or taste. Cancer is a debilitating disease which can cripple, maim and kill anyone of any standing, of any age, any background and any nationality.
