This past year I went to seminary in Eretz Yisroel. It was the most amazing, exhilirating, spiritually uplifting year in my life. I can't describe it to you in words, because there are no words to describe it. It was amazing to be surrounded by Torah twenty four hours a day. The people who live in Eretz Yisroel live Torah. There is no other way to describe it. I love it so much, that I am iy"H going back for a second year. Whilte I loved traveling around the country, my favorite city is still Yerushalayim. I hope iy"H to be able to live there when I am married. Aesthetically as well, Eretz Yisroel is breathtaking. Below are some pictures, of Israel in (some of) its beauty.

YerushalayimI took this picture from Talpiot on my second day in Israel. It is a view of most of Yerushalayim.

Kosel This is a picture of the Kosel. The Western Wall, the last remaining wall intact surrounding the Har Habayis.

Bircas Kohanim at the Kosel This picture was taken by the Kosel on Succos during the giant Bircas Kohanim on Chol Hamoed.

FlowerThis picture I took of a flower in Ganai Yehoshua, a park right outside of Tel Aviv. I went there once in the beginning of the year, when these flowers were just beginning to blossom, and then once again at the end of the year, when once again, the flowers came into bloom.

Banyas National ParkThis picture, my roommate, Liba, actually took. It was taken by the Banyas Falls in the Golan.

Banyas National ParkThis picture was also taken by the Banyas National Park. That is my friend, Chanie, looking at the breathtaking scenery.

ZooThis picture is of the zoo!!! Can you imagine going to a zoo that looks like this?!?!

ZooThis is also at the zoo.

Cliff pictureThis is a picture of me and my friend Malky. We were sitting on a cliff overlooking the Dead Sea, and we were singing. Too bad you can't see the beautiful scene we were looking at!

Arab shukBefore Pesach, three of my friends and I, went to the Arab Shuk so we could buy bongo drums for our brothers. Most Americans take pictures with Chayalim, we took with an arab :-)

Timna ParkThis picture I took in Timna Park down near Eilat. This is one of my favorite pictures.

Old City in YerushalayimThis is in the Old City in Yerushalayim.

Atzeres TefillahThis is a picture of the Atzeres Tefillah that took place in February. Frum Jews got together to daven and say tehillim because of the political situation in Israel. (Can you imagine?! This was just the women's side.. imagine how many more people were on the men's!)

Older couple in Meah ShearimI took this picture of an old man pushing his wife in a wheel chair in Meah Shearim. This is also one of my *favorite* pictures.
