TLC first hit the scene in 1992, with their Freshman effort, Oooooohhh...On The TLC Tip. With their dress code ranging from baggy pants to multi-colored condoms, T-Boz, Lefteye, and Chilli, addressed several sexual issues in their first hit, Ain't 2 Proud 2 beg. The girls, who ages at the time, ranged from 20-22, received much criticism for the song, and their flamboyant style. It even costed them an appearance on In Living Color in 1992. But despite critics, the girls continued to reign.

In 1994, TLC released their sophomore album, CrazySexyCool. With a new mature look, and subject matter, TLC talked about love, chillin', and matters that effect the world today. On their hit Waterfalls, they dicussed issues like murder, safe sex, and sexually transmitted diseases. The song was so sucesssful, it had the girls walk away with a ton of awards including 3 Grammys, and 4 MTV Video Music Awards.

Now, 1999, after a 5 year hiatus, TLC prepare to deliver, Fanmail, an album totally dedicated to the fans, which will include a spread with the names of over 2,000 fans. TLC... ROCK ON!!
