I will create a form for subscription/unsubscription as soon as possible.
At the moment, you can subscribe to or unsubscribe from the mailing-list by
sending an e-email as explained below.
The items in brackets are optional. If you not include the optional adress,
Majordomo will use the e-mail address in the mail message header to send
mail to you.
If you include the optional item, don't type the brackets.
Subscription
If you want to subscripe to the mailing-list, send a message to
majordomo@central.de
with
subscribe ariana [your e-mail adress]
in the body of the message.
Unsubscription
If you want to unsubscripe from the mailing-list, send a message to
majordomo@central.de
with
unsubscribe ariana [your e-mail adress]
in the body of the message.
Information
To post messages to list, send your e-mail to
ariana@central.de
Any other things (eg. subscribing, unsubscribing and so on) send to
majordomo@central.de
The following commands are known by the majordomo-server:
You can subscribe to a list, or ask about his or other users's
subscriptions, by sending mail to the majordomo server,
majordomo@central.de.
Put the commands in the body of the mail message
(not on the "Subject:" header component). Other than white space,
the commands must be the first text in the message body.
In the sections below, items in brackets ([]) are optional.
If you include the optional item, don't type the brackets.
- help
Sends one-line summaries of majordomo commands.
- info list
Sends an introduction to the list list.
- lists
Shows the lists served by this majordomo server.
- subscribe list [address]
This command subscribes you to the named list.
Unless you includes the optional address, Majordomo will use
the e-mail address in the mail message header to send mail to you.
- unsubscribe list [address]
This unsubscribes you (or address) from list.
- which [address]
Tells the lists to which you (or address) are subscribed.
- who list
Lists the subscribers of list.
- index list
Gives a listing of files in the list archive.
- get list filename
Mails a file named filename from the list archive.
- end
Stops reading the message. This is useful, when your mailer
adds text (like a signature) to the end of a message.
