Greetings

"Salutations!" said the voice.
Wilbur jumped to his feet. "Salu-what?" he cried.
"Salutations!" repeated the voice.
"What are they, and where are you?" screamed Wilbur.  "Please, please, tell me where you are. And what are salutations?"
"Salutations are greetings," said the voice.  "When I say 'salutations,' it's just my fancy way of saying hello or good morning."                      Charlotte's Web, p.35

This is a picture of my husband and myself at the wedding of a friend of ours.  If you have keen powers of observation, you may have noted that Aaron is in the Navy.  I occupy my time by working with children. I currently am in the field of special education.

Introduction
If you happen to have read a book about a bear of little brain, then you may recall that it began with an introduction.  You can't have known me for long without discover that I am a huge fan of said bear.

In my early childhood I went by such names as Brookie or Brookie Cookie,  I have now moved onto the significantly more mature Brooke Elizabeth Hoff.

By now I bet you are thinking, "but what is this site really about?"  So it's time to move on from reading the introduction to really surfing through the site.

I have the site divided into four major areas:

Teaching Portfolio: In which my past teaching experiences are presented.

Personal: In which we are introduced to the friends and relations of Brooke and Aaron Hoff.

Italy: In which Brooke and Aaron go romping around Europe.

Classroom News: In which Mrs. Hoff leads an Expedition into Learning and Knowledge.
