Music and musicians at Saints Peter & Paul serve a ministerial role. We serve the People of God by leading them in sung prayer, by assisting all to lift up their voice, to unite in one Spirit through song, to communicating sacred scripture and liturgical texts in a way in which words alone cannot. We recognize the transforming power of communal prayer and music, both in our individual lives and the world around us. We take care to see that the music we choose possesses integrity of style, appropriate to the sacred liturgy, and texts which express and deepen faith.
One aspect of the parish's music program is the Choir of Saints Peter & Paul. The Parish Choir leads the congregation in song and finds its own unique voice within the liturgy.

Instrumentalists are welcomed to participated at Saints Peter & Paul. Instrumentalists would not have to play every Sunday, a flexible schedule can be arranged. If you play an instrument and have some time to give to practice, consider the opportunity!
Music Ministry for the liturgies in Spanish is coordinated by Eladio Valentin. The group meets on Sundays at Noon and leads music at the 1:15 PM Mass.
The Church of Saints Peter & Paul is fortunate to have a 1929 E.M. Skinner Pipe Organ. This instrument continues to serves us well after 75 years of continual use. The three-manual, 23 rank instrument contains over 1,200 pipes. Projects are in the works to preserve this instrument to serve us well into the new millennium.
