Canadian artist Lesley White painted our puppies and submitted her oil painting titled "You Go First" to Ducks Unlimited and it was selected as one of their 2008 DU Prints. We are so proud. After such a fun day in 2006 we decided to organize a Vancouver Area Reunion while we were on holidays in Vancouver. July 22 saw 15 Hobocreek's puppies reunite with parents and siblings as well as their owners in a great romp in the Pacific Ocean.
Overcast skies held off the rain while the dogs swam and romped at Ambleside Dog Off Leash Park in the looming view of the Lions Gate Brige in West Vancouver. What a great time!
They said "PLAN IT AND THEY WILL COME" and they did, young and old, from all over Northern British Columbia. What fun, we had a blast and had a chance to catch up on news, meet new friends and just TALK DOGS...what a wonderful day.
JULY 29 Saw 16 dogs and puppies return to Hobocreek Kennels. They joined their families and siblings in a fun filled day.
Rain didn't stop the fun. Many owners called to see if the day was still on, and we said YES of course. Wet isn't going to stop a labradors fun.
The weather didn't spoil the day. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we did our day.
