Due to a media studies project I am completing, I have been conducting some research into the Disney heroines. Here I will be sharing my findings, and even hoping to expand them with as many views and thoughts from the public that I can gain.

The Big Question
Through this site I am hoping to answer a specific question, "What effect do the representations of the Disney heroines have on young children?". I will be looking at the different types of heroine seen over the years, including the changes in them, and also at the idealogy behind each one. With as much help as possible, I will hopefully be able to establish what sort of messages these representations are sending out.
