Research
Emphasis
Major
areas of focus in my research program involve all aspects of
restoration, rehabilitation and
reforestation of degraded ecosystems
(especially open
cast
coal mines); determining negative effects of pollutants; examining
factors that
explain patterns of ecosystem recovery; fire effects on forest
ecosystem
components and urban forestry.
